Over Ons

After travelling the world, and studying International Business and Languages in four different countries, I returned back to the Netherlands where I live now with my son Oscar (2013). You can read and see more about us on my Mother page.

I started my career in hospitality and later in the market research industry, but I was missing something. That’s when I decided to go back to university again, this time to become a professional translator. I officially started my own company as a translator in 2014. Have a look at my Translator – Transcreator page for an overview of my clients and my fields of expertise.

About 1.5 years after starting my own business, I noticed something was still missing. I already did some voluntarily work from time to time by learning refugees in the Netherlands the Dutch language and making them familiar with the Dutch culture. In 2016, I decided to volunteer in the refugee camps on the island of Lesvos. And this decision was lifechanging. This was the last piece of the puzzle I was missing.
